Spring break is one of my favorite times of the year. Almost every year that I have been in school, spring break has fallen during the month of March, and has worked out in my favor. My immediate family and I all have March birthdays, so for as long as I can remember we have taken a celebratory trip for our birthday month. Last week I enjoyed spring break in Turks and Caicos. Each day I woke up to the magnificent transparent blue ocean water, the white sand beach, and clear skies. It was truly paradise. I learned about the art of catching and preparing conch and picked up a few conch jokes, made some new friends, and even checked something off my 2016 bucket list! I kicked off my 21st birthday with karaoke night at a local dive bar.
I had planned on sporting this super cute romper, which also happens to be the March outfit of the month, but of course the one time I planned an outfit around vacation weight gain, I would actually lose weight. Instead I opted for a more casual look and wore one of my favorite rompers from last season.
This romper has "strong and fiery" yellow-red hues similar to those of Fiesta, one of Pantone's colors of the season, and pairs excellently with these luggage colored Vince Camuto peep toe booties. I picked up the matching chargeable wristlet clutch for free with a purchase I made at Banana Republic. I draped a crisp white blazer from Forever 21 over my shoulder to brighten up the overall look.
